Sports pitch irrigation system design and project management by Irritech including Dunstable Town FC pitch, using valve in head sprinklers and turf top sprinklers in pitch centres. The system was installed by SJS Irrigation using Hunter products.

The design / specification documents were issued to 5 No. Contractors for competitive tendering based upon the Client’s requirements, and latest irrigation products / techniques including variable speed pump stations, graphic based PC control, radio remote control, and direct link weather station for evapotranspiration calculation.
Irritech were appointed to design a new irrigation system and produce a tender specification for Watford Football Club’s Vicarage Road Stadium which included a new control system, new pumping station and an extension to the existing water storage tank.
